Douglas DWC "World Cruiser" Walkaround
In April 1924 four US Army Air Service Douglas DWC "World Cruisers" set off from Seattle. After almost six months two of them returned, having completed the first flight around the world. One of the planes, named "Chicago", is preserved at the National Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC, where it was photographed by Ben Guenther. Click the thumbnails to select photos!
