The Racing & Record kit lists contain more than 200 modelling products: kits, conversion kits and decal sheets. The criterion for inclusion in the lists is that the products, as sold, are for R&R planes. Kits of planes such as the P-51 have only been included if they include an R&R marking alternative.

The lists are subdivided in the following categories:

1918-1945 Speed R&R Landplanes (except US "Golden Age")
1929-1939 US "Golden Age" R&R Planes
R&R Seaplanes
Jet- and Rocket-Powered R&R Planes
Post-1945 Unlimited R&R Planes
Post-1945 Piston-Engined R&R Planes (except Unlimiteds)

Sometimes it is difficult to decide the category, especially between "Distance and Endurance" and "Speed Landplanes". If you don't find a plane in the place that you first thought of, please look in another!

A list of this kind is never complete, there is always some extra information to be added.
