One of the three Curtiss XP-40Q prototypes was entered in the 1949 Thompson Trophy race by Skip Ziegler. Wayne Moyer built this 1/72 model using the AMC resin kit and Thrust decals. As can be seen, some correction of the radiator scoops was necessary. Click the thumbnails to select photos!
