Keith Rider R-4 "Schoenfeldt Firecracker", built by Axel Fischer

Famous Lockheed test pilot Tony LeVier won the 1938 Greve Trophy race in the Menasco-powered "Schoenfeldt Firecracker", originally built by Keith Rider as the R-4. It was one of the most successful light racing planes during the 1936-1939 period. Axel Fischer built this 1/72 model using the LF Models resin kit. Click the thumbnails to select photos!
